Complete quests to earn prizes while achieving your summer reading goals! SummerQuest offers activities for the following age groups: 5 and under, 6-11, teens and adults.

Lunch will be provided free of charge through the Summer Youth Café for ages 18 and under at all of the above-listed events!

Weekly SummerQuest Club meetings help participants make progress towards their SummerQuest Reading & Activity Challenge goals.

    • Somerset County Library SummerQuest Club on Fridays, June 19th - August 7th at 10 AM at the Somerset County Technology Center. 
    • Wednesdays, June 17th - July 8th at 10 AM at Turkeyfoot Lending Library thanks to the Somerset County Library ASAP! program.
    • Thursdays, June 25th - July 30th at 10 AM at Conemaugh Township Library.
    • Attend SummerQuest programs each week to earn brag tags!
    • Complete a reading log to be entered into a raffle for a grand prize in your age group.
      • Preschool and Elementary participants will have a chance to choose a prize from MindWare, valued up to $50.
      • Teens and adults will be entered to win a Kindle Fire tablet.

In addition to the SummerQuest Challenges we are pleased to offer Summer Youth Café! nutritious meals at no cost to you for anyone 18 years and under. Lunches are available at

  • Somerset County Technology Center on Fridays between 11 - 12 PM from June 19th -August 7th, plus any day that we have scheduled a summer camp.
  • Meals are also available Monday evenings at Somerset County Library (June 22nd - August 3rd) between 5-6 PM.
  • Lunches will be offered at Turkeyfoot Lending Library between 11 AM and 12 PM (Wednesdays, June 24th - July 8th).
