Dig into your imagination this summer at the Somerset County Library! Join our fun, five-day creative
writing camp madejust for young writers ages 10 and up. We’ll meet for one hour each day to explore
storytelling through this year’s SummerQuest theme: “Unearth a story.”
This camp isn’t about boring rules or perfect grammar. It’s all about discovering the awesome ideas
hiding in your imagination. Whether you dream up wild adventures, mysterious worlds, hilarious
characters, or real-life stories, you’ll learn how to “dig up” inspiration from the world around you-and
from your own creativity.
You’ll get to write, share your ideas, and hang out with other kids who love stories too. It’s a chill,
supportive space where your creativity can grow. Poetry, short stories, songs, comics, nonfiction whatever you like to write, there’s a place for it here.
Come ready to create, explore, and have fun with words!
